  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

You realize reps have hundreds of customers? When live, you would expect them to draft 100s of emails?

My recommendation - just stay tuned to REDUSER on Oct 11 : )

From what I've been hearing from people, most wouldn't mind getting a refurbished Scarlet-W. I think it would be a great way to get cameras out faster to people waiting. The Scarlet-W's are still really new, I'm sure most are in great condition. Mine is still like-new condition, and I have a friend on a long S-W wait list that wanted to take my camera when I upgrade for the E-W, but we were told that transfer of ownership will forfeit warranties etc. Unfortunate for my buddy

This is only for people that put their deposit in for MG weapon upgrade before a certain date. The date has been passed for a while now.

It is no wonder that there are so many posting after 4am. These kinds of threads make sleep impossible ha! Now that I have finally decoded the message, it is time to talk the wife into an "investment in our future" ;D

It seams like a decade has passed since I was sitting in front of the computer pulling the trigger on the original Scarlet...
 
Any clues to the payment schedule for those who have placed a deposit on a Scarlet -W and who wish to upgrade to Epic-W?

edit: d'oh, thought you meant price, not deposit.

I'm coming into it with the plan that I could swing the money right off the bat, but I'm definitely interested in seeing their drunken payment plan thing. If it's very low interest (or no interest? If that's possible... not sure what their arrangement is with the financial institution that is handling it) then I'll probably do that.

I'm really excited for the Sigma cine lenses, and am thinking I'll just upgrade my whole kit once those are available.

I'm kinda hoping for a no-interest plan as well... 12-24 payments may make Weapon Helium a reality for me...

That would be awesome if it was like that, I could definitely hop on board of that. Even 6 months would do it for me.

This feels like a motivation for Matthew to set up a "fantasy football" style setup with monitors auto-refreshing reduser and RED store pages, while also maintaining the livechat. This is our superbowl sunday...
