Much smaller, almost half the size. And it works at USB 3.1 speeds and includes a "normal" USB 3.1 to USB 3.0 cable as well to work with your older hardware.

I've been wanting to own a Red for a long time, ever since Red One and just a couple of weeks ago I put down a deposit on a Red Weapon MG pkg [prior to starting reading this thread]. My vendor and the Red rep told me to get my order in but an announcement was forthcoming that I may want to pay attention to. This is why I went to reduser to see if I could find out any info. Boy was I in for an awakening - 415 pages later!
WOW!!! Been reading for hours for multiple days just to get caught up here. After at least 4 hours last night I thought this thread was infinite. I was excited to reach the end tonight. It's a pretty exciting thread to be sure. This is my first post and so hopefully I don't screw it up.
Anyways, here's a couple of questions since I haven't read any posts with someone in my exact position...
I already placed an order w/ deposit through a vendor for a complete Red Weapon MG pkg, which was before Oct. 11th. I'm assuming that there is no way to still get the Weapon MG, is that correct? If not, do I need to do anything else prior to Oct. 11th? Or on Oct. 11th do I just need to tell my vendor that I would like the Epic-W instead? As far as I can tell the brain price on the Weapon MG is the same as the Epic-W so there would be no price difference on my purchase correct? I do not need to keep hitting the refresh button on the red store and re-order a new package since I already have an order in with a vendor, correct? Jarred said there would still be a Weapon Dragon 6K in the line, just not the MG one I guess. Does that mean it's only the CF ones forged and woven? And the woven is $20K higher than MG?
Humbly asking these questions as I'm new participating in the forums. I'm really excited to finally be a part of the Red family. It's been a long time coming. Thanks in advance for any help!
