I have to say what is most impressive is 8k 30fps with 9:1 . Thank you very much, i think this will be the most EPIC EPIC ever. 4k prores downscaled from full 8k WOW. Is it possible to record 8k RAW and any prores at the same time ? I just can't wait for 11 OCT. Once more you have done it RED. This time i am on board :D

BTW any of you had any news from CVP.com about your scarlet w ?

Very soon someone will set up some sort of gambling agency on reduser :))

I know Jarred and I have both said it, no camera left behind. But this is really, truly last call…

Well, got to hand it to you guys. The fact that you're even offering any kind of upgrade deal to R1 owners is very generous. After the Red One, I did not continue on the upgrade path because it didn't make sense for my business model, but my heart has always been in it. And the R1 continues to make quality pictures. I'm as curious as anyone what the upgrade offer will be, even if my business brain is in conflict with my heart.

Thank you for even considering this, it really is unprecedented. I never would have expected it due to the age of the camera and the complexity of the upgrade process you guys have to go through. So, kudos to RED for continuing to hold those early adopters in high esteem.

Haha! I supposed we could send a truck load of RED roses. :hurray: Hey...maybe that's an option. RED could then include a single rose with each Epic-W that ships. Obviously RED would need to ship all those Epic-W's ASAP in order to keep the flowers alive since the roses would be used as an "I'm Sorry Hunny" the bank account has been depleted an extra $10k+. That would work right? :nads:

You guys are so funny. AND, after my blurb....just 3 more posts before we hit 300 pages...good grief!!!!! What's it gonna be by October 11th?????????
