  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Life is like a box of chocolates...you now never know what you're gonna get Brent. What I can tell you though is that a whole-lotta-love is en-route to you now. I think I should just go down to the Irvine office today and just sit in the lobby and watch all these flowers, chocolates, balloons, and Jarred's Teddy Bear arrive. Maybe I can live stream it too! Haha

Hold up, this is really being considered? We bought one of the Battled Tested R1MX brains, and like Jim said, it's got to be one of the best deals of all time. We've gotten some serious mileage out of that camera, but I had always assumed there would be no upgrade path for us.
 
Hahahaha... oh man, I'm going to regret this... but probably less than Brent really needs these flowers.

Best deposit I've ever made!

Thank you, Matt, from the bottom of my heart, to getting this thread back on track.

Not being considered, it is a fact.

Come October, every single existing camera owner will have an upgrade path. RAVEN and SCARLET-W pre-Oct 11 deposit holders will have opportunity to switch to EPIC-W (or WEAPON HELIUM, if you are a SCARLET-W depositer).

Also, something else that is very important. I mentioned it like a gazillion post ago, but come Oct 11, you better have any camera in your possession officially in your name to be eligible. Now live in RED.com (here), is Register Your Camera.

If you purchased from a dealer, please make sure you do that registration so we have it on our records so you will be eligible for your associated upgrades paths come Oct 11.

If you purchased second-hand from another REDUSER, make sure you have done the transfer of ownership. Initiate here.

If you purchased direct from RED and still have your camera, you are all set.

You guys got to realise, if he is giving out so many hints, what more must be actually planned?

Red drone. Red theater, red laser (red laser weapon system on the drone that can act as a projector that displays a theatrical short warning message that they should give up before they die. With a featue to tattooing Bloody Idiot on their foreheads). Laser speakers too (whoops, I shouldn't have mentioned that one) that plays the music from Apocalypse Now as it roams the country side. And just to stir them up a bit, everytime it finds somebody, it's big red eye glows, and it says "Is that you Dave..".

Jarred, wouldn't it be better to send Kelly the flowers? We can mess with Brent, but if Kelly gets upset, we're screwed.

Wow, that is truly unexpected. I'm assuming that the camera is registered to us if we bought it directly from RED?
 
make sure you put your name on the card on whatever you are sending Brent. I need to know who to send cameras to first.

Well, for one thing, since we have focused getting every one into customer hands, we have zero demo units for REDucation, as one example.
