  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Side Handles in full swing mode now.. Bunch just went out but Almost all the existing orders should be caught up over the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Same for me. It would be pointless me having mine until my S-W gets allocated.

Wow, I ordered immediately and didn't get a notice. There must be a bunch of orders. :smile:

Mine was allocated yesterday. My time stamp was 16:03 on April 16.

So awesome. I can't wait to get mine. I feel like it's the missing link for the style I go with on a lot of shoots.

Ranger is actually a very slick DSMC2 Module. That is indeed a normal camera brain that the Ranger wraps around ... and can be a VV 8k, helium 8k,, etc.

It takes a bunch of the stuff that is usually velcroed or bolted onto the exterior camera ( motor control, wireless video, etc. ) and integrates it internally into one badass customized package with integrated handles and battery mounts etc. It is not for the mass market though.. it is expensive. Stupid expensive. Once you add the 60k-70k brain and 10k wireless video and 10k wireless motor control and all the cnc machined bits you are running over 100k really quick. Definitely not for everyone.

Ah. That's actually wonderful news to know it's "attainable if needed".
 
I was hoping to see someone walking around on IBC with something that looked like a epic-w, but nothing.
Nobody knows and everyone is waiting for October.
But dammn that 8K helium that was on display is amazing. Couldn't believe my eyes, 3200 iso so clean and smooth.
It's excatly what I need, not talking about the resolution but the power in the dark.

Someone in fact was walking around IBC with a Epic-W.... looks like nobody noticed :)
