Keep in mind that as of today (right now) they have allocated at a *minimum* October 5th Raven orders.

yeah, that was certainly my understanding back in AprilCould have sworn they said they were going to get through all those in April or said they did
Yeah I thought for sure they completed all switchers. Did you switch after NAByeah, that was certainly my understanding back in April
October 16 here.I'm waiting for a Nov. 30 order (Raven switch)
One thing that might get lost in all of this, is simply that IF RED had the cameras to send us, they would. I don't know if it is just the high demand, or some problems with baking sensors, or a combination of the those and other factors. I, like other's, didn't love the fact that a bunch of Raven guys got in front of guys like me (December 10 order) or that they stopped production on everything but Raven, for a whole month. Having said that, RED as a team, has been super good to me, responsive and understanding. I cannot say enough. I want my camera too. And maybe, just maybe, if I don't have it by October, and I am allowed to became a dreaded "switcher" to Epic-W, it will have all been a gift in disguise, and well worth it. Hell, it will all be well worth it regardless. These Mario, are the musings of just one of a few folks who have been waiting since last year.
I feel you man... I was only wondering on the accuracy of the information on the purchase page of the Scarlet-W. Just joined the forum a couple of days ago so I might have missed some details regarding the deliveries of the SW. Cause now I'm with an expectation of recieving near the end of fall (in consideration that the info on red.com is indeed correct). I have no problem waiting for the SW because I know it'll be worth it but I thought maybe you guys might know if the chances of it being delayed further than fall is likely? Or is RED back on schedule and there should be no problem with the latest orders coming in this fall?
Jarred said the introduction of Helium will take lots of the demand on the Dragon sensor production off, and while there is always the possibility of unforeseen circumstances, they don't just say they can deliver cameras if they can't do it. So, even though guys like me were hoping to have cameras in April, I still believe when they make a pronouncement they mean it. And many of the shipping deadlines they announced they hit right on. Just know you will dig it when you get it man...a fantastic tool.
When did you request a switch from Raven to Scarlet-W?October 16 here.
Interesting. So is there still no cut off for people switching from Raven to Scarlet-W? I.E. if someone with an Sept 25 Raven timestamp told RED they wanted to switch to Scarlet-W today, would they suddenly be next in line?FYI: Raven ordered 09/25 2:57.Switched to SW 04/25 and finally allocated on 08/10.
Not sure if you're referring to my post, I made an edit clarifying that "Sept 25" was just used as an example. How are we still on sept time stamps and some from dec have been allocated? Seems off to me.
Have any December 10th orders received their cameras? I'm still not seeing any posts on saying such on red user and very few on facebook in the last few months.
Calling SW with Dragon Sensor "Old Tech" is kind of doing a disservice to how amazing it is. I'm interested in the October news too but epic-w is going to be double the price it looks like anywaysI have not received mine, which sucks because we're doing 3 TVCs in LA in a few weeks- and RED says they do not have loaners anymore.
But the longer I wait, the more I wonder about buying a camera with 'old tech' in it, we've had Dragon for a long time, now. I'm becoming more curious about the October news and less excited about SW.
