  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The times we love...

I love your little teases, Jim. The problem though is that I live on the east coast, and they always come late at night. So of course I will lay here now and ponder on what is yet to come. I think I'm going to have to move to the west coast so i can get sleep, lol.
 
Any chance the RED store will sell something a little...harder than a cap?

The RED Effect is in full swing. 4k is coming as the new standard, quicker than ever.
 
Yeah, its got to be so satisfying to see the company that at NAB 2010 pushed 1080P and scoffed at 4K only to show up at NAB 2011 with BEYOND HD all over their Booth and a (cough) 8K sensor

consumer definitely wins in these battles. thanks for fighting the fight!

I know I'm a small fish in a big pond at this time. Or at least a silent one for now. But with all do respect, I always felt Red had an advantage and there was no competition. The whole Philosophy from the begining is what the "Independent Spirit" is about. For what its worth, my company is adopting the whole philosphy, workflow, and system of Red, for filmaking. Sad thing is every one says equipment is just equipment, but even in Film school I saw what is needed is a "System" with high quality, low overhead and speed. All I can say is Thank You. In this so called battle, we will hold down our post.
