This is basically some super low weight asseories that is custom built to work with the clutch and they basically a nice adjustable skater dolly included in your clutch.

Check these links to see how super smooth and how solid this setup actually is. The clip is done with no post stabilization or such.

since the clutch handles are on ball joints the front wheels can be adjusted to any angle, Just as the "back wheel" that also can be adjusted around two axises using the back support and letting the wheel mount swivel around the included 19mm carbon rod.

Price is now lower since we optimized the tooling.

including:
2 x front wheel handles
1x 19mm wheel clamp
Back support 19mm rod clamp.
3 wheels (choose between small black or big green)

So if you have a clutch and what to pimp it with wheels just send a pm.

I LOVE it! Great idea and one less doohickie to haul around. But isn't that why Matt created those wheel handles? ;-) Seriously, this is a great example of thinking outside the box. Now how about adding an electric motor to the getup? It'd have to be a manual transmission though...

You need to call it Speed Racer.

Important question: do the wheels swivel/pivot on their axis? That would be an important feature, possible with a lockout option.

It is now officially named speed racer, how do I change the headline :)

I think RED wheels does not come with ball bearings, even though I think they should make that.

We made them so they do not swivel. But they are turnable since you can turn the rod in the back or the clamp holding the wheel and you can turn the Clutch handle. But I find it better to have wheels locked in then having "shopping cart" kind of wheels.... but then again maybe we can make an option for that... even though this locked alignment version is probably going to be more light weight.

Here it is in side winder / target tracking mode.. with a lowered front swell. takes about 10 seconds to adjust, at the most.

Since the clutch is of such a firm build it's very sturdy even when handles are completely spread out. I would not take poison on it but I think I could almost make a ollie kick flip on this thing and it would not brake.. LOL.

Good point. Could there be some way to mount a laser pointer on each wheel so they can be individually aimed to allow for an arc movement around a point? My formerly owned P+S Skater MINI did that and it was the best feature allowing for quick setup.

edit: The more I look at it, the more I like the simplicity, i.e. K.I.S.S. I'm thinking it might just be something I need to add to my clutch after having sold my Skater MINI. Really love it!

good point, thats a must for the deluxe version at least.

Maybe add tripple lasers to the todo list. or at least a fitting for one laser above each wheel so each set could be calibrated. Even though to me it seams pretty straight forward to create a good arc as it is.

Which is why I mentioned the K.I.S.S. method, keep it simple. If adding a laser pointer, you would only need one, allows for a more precise aiming of the wheel. But it might be problematic with the front two wheels being on ball swivels. Simple is good.

I have to get all the numbers, which I will have before the weekend. Then I can give you a price.

I want to work for your company!

Even though I think your statement is built on poor insight Josh, I definitely take it as a huge compliment.
But I get bit worried for you, why why on earth would you like to work for a bunch of computer heads in a garage? :)

Any way, next time we got something going in LA I will have you in mind.

If ever in San Diego - dinner and drinks on me. Love what you guys do and would love to tip a cocktail sometime and chat

That is, really, really funny looking. But also looks really, really effective and efficient. I love it. And I love seeing this kind of ingenuity in practice.

But it is a little goofy looking.

Ok we got the numbers from the machine shop and it's as always rather high.
So here it goes:

Clutch setup: 670USD + shipping
including:
2 x front wheel handles
1x 19mm wheel clamp
Back support 19mm rod clamp.
3 wheels (choose between small black or big green)
Carbon fiber rod.
Screws for the above.

19mm mobile setup 550USD + shipping
including:
4x 19mm wheel clamps.
Screws for the above.
wheels big green or small black

19mm mobile setup (no wheels): 450USD + shipping
including:
4x 19mm wheel clamps.
Screws for the above.
(no wheels included)

Our camera just came home from a shoot so I got some time to test this baby... It's basically super nice. The inaccurate wheel settings does not matter much. The way the clutch work almost like a Michael Bay transformer character is making this into something really special. I did this test setup in just a few minutes. it was the first take recorded and I spent literary less than 2 minutes to get adjust the setup... most time was spent getting all the syndicate dices in the background right.

Setting the elevation, the inclination angle and the size of the arc took less then a minute...

I actually though that a better precision would be needed but I have to say Im super surprised how nice and precise moves this thing actually delivers.

When putting the rig on the ground after having it on the shoulder it just sits there on it's wheels not getting dirty or scratching the back support or handles.

Any way here is a link to the result take of my test and also with a lowress poor iPhone image of the same thing.
