  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Red Shooter List

It's a great list - but I'll forget that I put my info there, and then as I continually upgrade my equipment I'll forget to update the list (if that is even eventually possible…).

those are my concerns as well :)

i literally just had a meeting with my programmer going over features and whatnot, it's really shaping up to be a useful tool for many of us. theres a bunch of ideas we have for the future such as projects pages for more filmmaker oriented people, and possibly a more intuitive and secure way to rent your equipment out to others. but first things first, we're getting it to be a secure, quality, useful list for both camera owner/operators, and people trying to find a camera owner/operator.

nice! signed in. Thanks for the efforts, much appreciated...

are you working on features that would allow us to change what we have already put in .... a lot has changed for me.

absolutely. i hesitate to divulge too much, but in short, once the new thing is live, you'll get a new password with your email address and can change anything, customize, set privacy, or delete the whole account should you choose. one of the ideas it's being built around is for an easy way for a producer or shooter to find someone based on their location and equipment.

Just an update, the new site with the super great awesome red shooter list is progressing just great, i think it'll be useful to quite a few people. more to come very very soon!

Well folks it's been over a year, but we finally rolled out the new list site. I've updated the OP with all the details, but to save you going back to read it i'll dupe it here:

This is a list of owner/operators of red cameras in cities around the world. It's purpose is for people to find shooters by the cameras/equipment they use.

-This new list site should solve all the shortcommings/issues of using google docs. by default all contact info is set to private, so no spammers can get a hold of it. We've been working hard on it for quite some time now.

-You can do anything you want with your account, to get into it just use the forgot password system, the email is what you used for the google doc.

-If for any reason you do NOT want to be on this new list/site, you can either delete the account yourself, or just PM me your username and i'll do it for you.

-We made this with the intent to be as useful as possible, if you have comments/suggestions/desires please do let me know.

-If for any reason linking to this new list violates the TOS of REDUSER, please let me know and i will delete the link immediately. The site is not selling anything, it has no cart, or paid services, just affiliate links like everyone else.
