  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thanks Paul! We'll most definitely can make great use of a Segway-Steady shot, even so I have written it to be a MōVI shot, there are several scenes, of following the walking talent with various angles, that will most definitely also take the great advantages offered by a Segway mounted steady.

The energy of your post made me smile and the concept of your film is intriguing. I don't know if we've ever spoken on Red User directly? This is one of the first times I'm writing someone from the board.

Long story short, I've been working in film a loooong time and have been lucky enough to work with amazing people on amazing projects. And after all this time, I find I still love filmmaking, maybe more than when I started. So, to read how excited you are excited me. I so rarely see that attitude in LA.

Basically, I don't know if your positions are filled. I began as a visual effects artist working directly with Steven Spielberg, have worked on Star Trek, Titanic, etc. I've supervised effects, and now I direct and shoot for my friends on their productions when they ask. That said, if my schedule permits, if you need a camera operator, if you need an assistant, if you need a grip, If I can, I would love to help you achieve what you're after. I can also be someone to suggest actors (I assume you've already cast all of the parts by now though), make-up, locations ideas, whatever.

The casting is actually starting on Monday, so I am still very much grateful to any one presenting opportunities to find good talent, and drop dead gorgeous Models.

Despite the incredible great response for this project, there are still few positions left open to be filled, and I'll surely like to talk to you more about it.

Starting Monday morning I'll be running around LA like a mad man to finalize Casting and locations, and look forward to meet you up at some point.

I am most certainly also considering what you have offered, as you know good help is never enough on a project as important as this, so I take the opportunity to thank you again, and by mid of next week I'll be finalizing all of this with every one that has email me and or PM me so to get together a good list of gear and crew to put together for the shoot.

As I am doing all by my self, not having found a PA yet, it is taking me a bit longer, but I will not care how long it takes, as I only care to make it right.

We'll start all exterior Principal Photography starting on the morning of "SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14" rapping up by late "SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 15" night.
With all the scenes @ RED STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD on "MONDAY SEPTEMBER 16" rapping up no later then "TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 17"

As promised, we'll have an unprecedented BTS video coverage of this shoot, send any questions to my TWITTER account : @KETCHROSSi
They will be read and replied to while shooting and presented on each of the UNEDITED BTS series of Videos starting from Saturday September 14!!

This project carries a lot of "WEIGHT" Dragon been one of them, but the fact that it is a short for my Feature Film is the other, and I must be careful to insure the right choices are made when presenting it to the public.

I for sure am going to want to set up a special 4K Screening in LA, but this is just in early stages, as I'll move forward I'll look in to finalize this and have a good sizable space to do that, so that it can be viewed i it's intended full 4K glory!!

Then for sure I'll uploaded on to my ODEMAX channel, and then need to decide if go Youtube 4K or Vimeo.

But it will take a while, as after the shoot is finished it will need to be taken to Editing, Grading, Sound FX, Sound Track and so on...

Mean while we'll be releasing an incredible amount of BTS videos which will be uploaded on my new Youtube Channel daily, starring from the shoot next Saturday.
