  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Mother of all Backorder Updates

My side handled, ordered with my scarlet package on nov 3rd just finally is getting to me tomorrow.

I've had my Scarlet for 3 months and im finally able to shoot outside!
 
i bought a 400 watt power inverter, and have been running 200ft of extensions out of my 87 volvo 240dl to shoot my scarlet outside. a little extreme but it works. haha. I just got mine today. so the real fun starts. no ac tether. lol i hate tripping over that cord.

That is the most expensive battery I've heard of)
 
hey i had stingers laying around. and the inverter was 60 bucks. If 60 bucks gets me outside, sign me up. granted it does look silly. wrangling the cables feels a bit like if RED retold the hansel and gretel story. following the bread crumbs all the way back.

I have a plug that was equipped with my 03 Pontiac Vibe, but I never felt comfortable doing it.

But sidehandle just came in. Now off to Lowes to get a tool so that I can put it on.

Thought this tool was just great..no I don't work for them or have any connection. All the tools in one package that you need, torx cool tool. http://www.cinemaoxide.com/wrenches.php, congrats on the side handle, still waiting and watching.

LOL. Minde is running on a 98 VW Jetta... Cameras = built in america, power sources = foreign cars!
 
Wish I didn't have to ask this, I know you guys are working all the hours in the day - but any news on the canon mount?

Have a shoot on the 28th and 29th, that I would love to use it on and ordered 2 weeks before this backorder update was posted....

Failing that - any London based owners want to rent me one :)

The Titanium Canon mounts are shipping... if you ordered it more than a couple weeks ago you should of already received it :)
