GoPro opens so much possibilities that were not possible before and the quality is outstanding for its size. This camera changed the world of sports and film making forever.

Oh, you'll get a bunch of fan mail with this post . . .

Yep, millions of these will be sold, cant wait till they are available down under.
$300 and waterproof to 60mtrs.....just what I need.

The Most Revolutionary Camera Ever Made was the Kodak Brownie. GoPro has some work to do yet to rate in the history books

Certainly not the most revolutionary camera ever made, but its able to give me shots I wouldn't DARE with an EPIC! :)
Bought 2 taking into account I might lose one in a crash... Imagine that with an Epic...

Was hoping for 1080P 60 on the update. Still 720P @ 60

oh, wait a minute, I just got a look at the full spec sheet, and based on that I'll have to buy one to check out whether the picture is any better. The casing looks the same, so I bet they're only saying it's sharper because of the higher pixel count. But the casing is a very low optical quality, so I can't see how the footage is going to look that much better.

It has a new lens (170 degrees) a new processor and a new 11MP sensor, I reckon it will be much better then the old one

Some of the specs on that sheet are classic, the old model only had a "Sharp" lens the new one is 2x sharper, and the old model was only standard low light but the new model finally offers professional low light, does Epic have Professional low light?

Did anyone notice the wifi remote control and streaming video capability?

The wifi remote feature is backwards compatible with the last gen hero as well.

We used the original ones on the danish Cash Cab show, and quite frankly I'm not impressed. The so-called High definition quality is not good unless you're in perfect lighting conditions, and still it has a lot of digital noise.

It's a daytime extreme sports toy
