  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

SO 999 shipped today from Red Europe (AL package) with everything but the side handle. According to FedEx it should be delivered tomorrow.

Same here. SO 970. Money in the account since December.

They've only shipped the Red Touch so far. It should arrive today or tomorrow.
 
Ordered at about 8:30 on the 3rd, and last week finally got my allocation email. It is on a truck/plane somewhere as we speak. SO#1158, AL.
 
Congrats! Exscuse me, being an european collegue", what about VAT? I payed the total amount to RED but the local VAT (that I have to pay here in Italy) but I didn't understand when will I have to do it.. once the Scarlet will knock at my door to the FEDEX-MAN or in other ways? What did U do about it? They told U anything?

This is starting to give me hope that the rumor about a PL shortage was false. Glad I ordered the PL package and the Canon mount separately!

If you don't have a VAT number, RED Europe needs to charge UK VAT (20%). If you have a VAT number they won't charge UK VAT. When they tell you your camera is ready just provide your VAT number or tell them you don't have one. You don't have to pay VAT twice, so if you don't have a VAT number you'll only pay the UK VAT to RED.

Luckily I got to check this bad boy out. Calmed my nerves for the time being, my Scarlet is a couple days away!
 
Wow, Paul how did you swing that one? Could they already be that far for PL. I am after you for PL in our great estimated list, could be really soon now.
