  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

SO# 980 has just been overnighted. Two scarlet-X's and all accessories in package except side handle. INCREDIBLY AWESOME Rep James Lucarelli said backorder on side handle should be complete by February! Congrats to all who have ordered & received! Very exciting times to be a filmmaker, its all about the story now! (Transformers 3 proved that pretty well for us eh?!)

A quick question for everyone who's already received their Scarlet...

Once you receive the allocation email from RED, how long is it until the camera actually ships (i.e. 7-10 days)?

I'm sure the answer to this question is somewhere in the forum, but I thought I'd just ask here.

Allocated last Wed evening, shipped Monday for me.
 
I believe its 5-7 days from allocation, if there is not enough money in your account, it would be an additional 5-7 days from when funds are received in full.

It was 6-7 for me.

For this last order ... it was 3 days (In November ... it seemed like a long time) I think there are some major order and process improvements going on inside RED !
 
received allocation email 1/10, received Fedex email 1/11 (today) for next day shipping, should have Scarlet tomorrow!

Wow awesome! That happened in some people's allocations last go around. Others waited till the same day as the next set of allocations. Totally worth it when you get it though. I can't stop looking at it. I've put it in, and taken it out of the box atleast 5 times...It's better every time :)

Don't worry Ben, I ordered early hours of Nov 4th (GMT) 3rd PST and aside from a few emails regarding my red account details, the advice given was, sit-tight until Red get in touch.
