  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

After almost exactly 4 years since the post naming it as "scarlet"

After that a new forum, a few scarletuserpodcasts done. Its been a long time coming. BUT I AM SO PUMPED!

So Zac you ordered your screen on the 9th and have it already?

Thats where I'm confused right now. Those coming up in allocation that ordered before the 9th aren't getting screens when they're shipping out to later orders after the 3rd....

Yeah, not quite sure where or how i was able to get one. But i ordered one when they were still in stock.
 
I don't think so. I "should" be at most 40 cameras back (20 AL canon Mount, and 20PL), and I have heard nothing. However, I'm not sure we know if they are going by order date or if SO equals order date.

I ordered my canon Al kit on day 1. My 5" LCD, REDvolts, RED Station, REDmag, and Travel charger were allocated yesterday. I also made an order a week after the kit for an additional Redmag and batteries; these have already arrived..

Nice, what is your SO number and time of order PST? Would be good to know for the list.

On another note just looked at the list and someone marked my order 0945 as allocated...not the case. I have received no notification in regards to a Scarlet X shipping.

Edit: Fixed, it was actually RED the next time I looked.

Well I'm done with the list...someone just marked my order as Cancelled, after being changed to Allocated, then shipped. It says JeffDaniels was the last person to edit it whoever that is. Fixed it back, but won't do it again.
 
I'm not sure the list really has any meaning anyway. If they have shipped 520 of them, and there are only 30 red lines on the list, it's not really that accurate. Plus it's just frustrating seeing so little activity. I have one more day of hitting refresh every few seconds, before I've given up all hope of getting it anytime soon.

I don't think there are 520 out there, I think the numbers are more random than anything. Yesterday someone got Scarlet number 520, today someone got number 52. I don't think the Serial numbers actually indicate the number or Scarlets in the wild. I could be wrong...just odd.

But it must signify how many have come off the line no? And why would they be holding onto cameras if they didnt have to? Maybe they are all juts sitting on the shelf waiting for sidehandles and LCDs...

Al Canon Mount - Rest of people at the RSH event were notified over the course of this week (production team did a great job). We are now moving on to Canon Al by order date/timestamp.

Ti Canon Mount - Still fulfilling backorders on orders placed pre-Nov 3 for this mount. Backorder update from Jarred.

Brent, will the Ti PL orders b ahead of the Canons for a while due to mount availability? If we ordered a Ti PL after the great mass of early orders, is there a chance we'll get our cameras before people who ordered canon earlier than us?

@ Liam, Jeeze that was a long night! My stuff is shipping, I'm sort of hoping that at Mascot (our international entry point for our state) the Fed X guys stuff up the shipping & send me Liam's package instead . So as of this time, I am still waiting on camera, side handle, Redmote plus all the babes I am ment to be able to pickup once I get this camera. I will now return to Red Zen Den & dwell on these points.

I have followed the list pretty regularly since I ordered my camera on 12/10/2011 and most of the time it has made sense. The past three or four days someone has been really been screwing with it, why? What purpose does this serve?

I bought SSD's sometime before the 3rd, and LCD on the 9th of November.LCD shipped fast as it had just left backorder for a short time.
