  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Looks like the doc is messed up again then, when I just looked at it order #1209 shows as being from Europe.
Weird.

Were you at the event Zac?
I assume so - my SO# is below yours... but no allocation email yet.

Yeah, the doc is definitely messed up, my order number is listed as coming from New York... pretty sure I'm not there.
People just can't stop themselves from sorting, huh?

If I recall correctly Barry was at the event on behalf of his company, something of that nature.

Congratulations Zac. Good to meet you there btw. Zac was "officially" first in line btw.
 
My Scarlet-X is coming! Got the email today for the allocation, called my bomb squad rep, and got them to process the order asap. It'll ship in 5-7 business days, but without an LCD or Sidehandle, so it's virtually useless for a while. :)
 
Just a reminder for all the lucky people getting their allocation- it's super helpful for the rest of us if you post your SO#, mount, and if you were at the event. Thanks for taking the time to post that your Scarlets are on the way!

I hope this doesn't sound like me being a downer, but if they have only just allocated Zac his Al mount now (and he was first in line at the event!), surely that doesn't bode well for the rest of us. I would have expected that Zac might have been allocated one on the 1st of Dec - three weeks after shipping starts seems odd to me.

Let me rephrase that, I was first (second) in line to get into the event... not to order a scarlet.

I was just joking with Phil, I ordered around 850pm that night.

So, yeah, looks like it's taken a bit longer to ramp up than they'd hoped - but the good news is they starting to ship out now in (I assume) decent numbers. It'll get here when it gets here.

Yeah exactly - I was originally concerned because I wanted to use my Scarlet for my own wedding mid Jan. But I'm trying to make plans to hire two Epic's instead now. Takes a bit of the pressure off :)

Not to sound completely sadistic, but statistically speaking, how does it feel to know that your wedding footage will be more future proofed than your marriage? LOL!
