  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I tried to put a feeler out on the canon thread in recon to see if anyone has received any allocations for just the mount in October and didn't get any bites. Anyone here know of any of the mounts for the epic that have been allocated ordered in October? The backorder updated indicated the 31st but also said the lcd's would be out of backorder the 27th as well and I know a lot of folks are still waiting.

Oh well until then the DSLR's are still getting a workout.

I am patiently waiting in the bushes to get a glimpse of the rare beast never before seen in the wild...

Scarlet # 401 just arrived downunder...SO 3674 PL ordered Nov 10 ...you beauty!!! Thanks to Dan and everyone at RED, this camera is the game changer I have been waiting for....for a very long time!!!

am i reading your post right ??? you ordered on november 10th, got the order number 3674 and got your scarlet-x before me?
i am on so 2417, ordered on november 5th and still has not gotten mine ?

what have you done for getting your camera before me ??? sweets for the guys and girls at red ? give me a hint :-)))

It's all in his name... but seriously it sounds strange, but perhaps it's PL mount.

Indeed, but this has nothing to do with why they are not speaking about it though. Instead I ahve learned about a lot of new gadgets and a vacation to Fiji.. :S

Woooo Hoooo!!! We just received our Scarlet allocation today, along with a Redmote allocation yesterday! FYI, SO#1687, ordered early AM November 4th. Thanks to McClain and everyone at Red who is working so hard to get caught up!!! It will be interesting to see when our second camera (ordered December 21st) will get on the radar screen.

SO2031 (ordered Nov 4th) should be coming soon! Can't wait!

Keep your eyes pealed for the new release firmware by Graeme for Scarlet and Redcine X. Apparently, in the gospel according to Jim, it's like having a whole new camera!
 
S0 1569 Allocated.....yep they are finally out of Nov. 3 & into orders placed Nov. 4. good news

For people further down the line things should start speeding up now they are over the bump of the launch day. Then of course there is the other bump of Jan 1. price rise.
 
oh man. SO 2938 has to be coming up soon if they are already at 2031. Be patient be patient
