  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Gentleman's Underwater Bubble Blower Thread

It kind of ran it's course since many originals moved, Ken Corben went incognito a long time ago, Tom Hamilton passed a couple years ago, I'm semi-retired and Pawel doesn't "have PVC to kick around anymore" :wink5:
I’m still floating

Ok, gonna try to find life in this thread.
QUESTION:
DSMC2 - Helium in Nauticam Housing
So, you are all setup and created an Overlay you are happy with: focal distance, focal length and all that you want on the overlay.

NEXT…..you are all setup underwater with proper exposure and focus. HOW do you switch to a CLEAN screen/overlay that utilizes the ENTIRE screen area without the tools and data that are typically burnt in to the top and bottom of the LCD?
….don't say it can’t be done, bc I had the dang thing working today, but only bc of an error

EDITED:

That would be quite useful indeed.
It's possible to clean all the "custom" overlays that are over the image area.
To see only the image, depending on your uw monitor, you can use the "zoom" function.

Another option will be to activate the "clean" mode for the monitor output your are using:

From the user manual, in Monitor Preferences:

"MONITOR MODE

Select an option for the Mode setting, which determines the elements displayed on the monitor:

  • Clean: Only the video displays. The Upper Status Row, Lower Status Row, and overlays do not display."
