  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The future...

gotta stay busy in order to pass though the anxiety you cause......

Great....... I can't wait to buy your Red 4K Home Laser Projector for under $2000.

:)

Oh, and your 4K Monitors as well.

:)

AND...........new lightweight Lenses.

As always, good to know that RED is looking into the future as well as concentrating on the present...there will always be something coming down the pike.

If you bought into the RED program, you are likely to feel like you grabbed on to a cyclone when we are done.

Hopefully that applies to those that will be buying in here shortly, as well!

It really is hard to describe what RED has planned. If you bought into the RED program, you are likely to feel like you grabbed on to a cyclone when we are done.

Just saying...

Jim

You are one cruel bloke.

Thanks for robbing my sleep Jim.

I spent several hours today in meetings gathering updates about our progress for things we have in the works. I have to say... if you are mildly impressed with what we have accomplished in the past 5 years, you will be wildly excited about what we have coming in the future.

Not to sound like a worry-wart, but I trust you have future-proofed the future against disaster. That Japanese tsunami thing has been a real wrench-in-the-works for many of us. Not so much for others.

disclaimer: sorry for appearing to think only of myself and not for the Japanese people, the people of New Zealand, Somalia, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Beliz, Ecuador, Wall Street, Main Street, Octomom, guests on Jerry Springer, the prosecutor in the Casey Anthony trial, Tiger Woods, the investors in the new Spy Kids movie, and anyone else I may have left out.

With all of the rest of the bad news and despair swirling about us these days, here is an island of excitement and hope :) Keep it going, RED!

Just wondering if anyone knows, off the top of there head, the sensor name of the fixed scarlet? The 3K 2/3 format sensor if I am not mistaken? I remember reading the name somewhere, and yes it does have an offical name. Not sure if or what the code name was either. Did a search and am coming up with nothing?

That would be the Mysterium-X same as in the RED ONE MX and the Epic, just smaller.

Yeah its in the same family, but its obviously not the same sensor! It would have been designed around its size (2/3) and pixel/resolution, 3 to 3.5 K. It has a name or code name or whatever? Just cant remember what it is? Just like the Mysterium, M-X, Monstro. Its something in the realm of.... dragon, or something similar?

Scarlet is Mysterium-X generation sensor. Haven't heard of any other name being applied to it. Dragon is the next gen sensor upgrade for Epic.
