  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

the end of high speed shooting

Can I vote for 3K at 240fps. This is my #1 feature request for Epic.

I love how this didn't even occur to me as an option haha...

I think I'm going to try all 3 settings in test shots - the scene is a boy in close up walking L to R against a darkened kitchen lit for nighttime - no fast movements. I'm toying with the idea of having lightning flashes occur, which is an issue, and possibly also a billowing curtain such as if the window was open during a wild storm, but I'm getting the sense this opens myself up to warping.

It's a single shot lasting over 90 seconds and it OPENS the movie so I need this thing to look GOOD! :emote_headwall:

Thanks for feedback.

is scarlet at 60fps 2k or 3k at 48fps better for liquids, explosions, etc? Both in twixtor or in NLE native interpolation options? thank you

You will never know before tested. ofcouse if the interpolation manage to work flawlessly at 3k48fps then thats better.. But if it happen not to work out then that is not an option. You also might not get good results at 60fps.

So basically never trust twixor for any work of importance, i.e when you promised to deliver a clean shot. However bringing twixor to the shoot can save you from getting a negative surprice in editing.
