  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The differences between Panasonic PF11 and PF12

I'm down here in Australia and I'm trying to work out if there is an equivalent monitor to the panasonics you guys are referring to. Seems that the model numbers are different and I'm trying to compare features.

Anyone know if any of these will do the trick for a client monitor and for an occasional very basic grade too?

Here's the full list too

Thanks very much

I don't know much about the Euro models (looks like Aussies get the same), but the V25 series is top and does 3D. V20 looks to be primarily the same but I'm not sure how it relates. Here in the USA we have a VT20, but it only comes in 50" and lacks the calibration controls and RS232 connection. Only available through a couple select retailers. Either way, it seems the Euro V20 and V25 use the same panel and AR filter as the US/Japan VT25 series and PF20 pro model. The G series is a step down, the U series another step down, the C series is at the bottom.

I don't know which ones support full calibration functions, 24fps, etc.. Those features seem to be determined more by firmware options, which vary from one region to another.

Hey Jeff, if you have to buy today a plasma panny for your machine...
monitoring option
