I'm looking to purchase a Battle-Tested Clutch. Has anyone purchased a BT Clutch? Are there any alternative to Clutch at the price of $3k?
Much appreciated!

I have Wooden Camera's premium shoulder rig and am absolutely loving it. Check it out and it's half the price.
I also got a BT clutch, really turned out to be quite the bargain. Everything was just about flawless that I could see. And for me the bigger rig putting more weight on the body than the shoulder is good, as I have had medical issues with my right shoulder.
a Gunner is a nice alternative if you're into a smaller setup. You can put together a basic Gunner rig for $2000 or less, if you don't mind not having a quick release. It is WAY smaller than the clutch, and way lighter. It also works well if you attach a quick release plate to the bottom and just attach the whole thing to your tripod. The clutch can be a bit heavy for that, and I usually remove the chest pad completely from the rig when I go on sticks because it gets in the way. The Gunner doesn't have that issue.
Wooden camera's handheld rig is also nice. the main issue I have with that and the Gunner is simply that all the weight on my shoulder pinches a nerve or something and I get a dead arm.
Buy battle tested with confidence. Red isn't selling yesterday's junk, thankfully.
I looked at the Premium Shoulder Rig. It looks bare compared with the Clutch where the extra $1500 buys you (QR Release $700; Mounting Plate (DSMC) $100; Sliding Top Handle $175; 2x DSMC Uni Mount $400; 2x Carbon X Rods $250; 2x Accessory Attachment bracket $400; 2x Auxiliary Support Pad $700). Thats about $2700 worth of accessories, some of which you definitely use in addition to the clutch.
