  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thank You.

Investing in RED changed my life.

I'm writing you now from Vegas, on shoot #40 for us this year.

Amazing to think how far we've come...since we invested in a little thing called RED.

Thanks SO MUCH.

Thank you for making such great products and forcing yourselves beyond the limit. (maybe sometimes a little to much ;) ).
I hope, when all of this is over, you will have a nice vacation!

Jarred,

Not much I can add to the posts. Everyone's said what's on my mind.

The thanks go to you, Jim, and all the fantastic RED team members I've met and interacted with since the beginning in 2007.

Yah, I get frustrated at times, and I've pushed back at times, but I'm still a loyal fan through and through and proud to say that.

You guys have totally disrupted an entire industry and your business model will probably end up in some Harvard Business School review at some point.... but by all means, keep being and bleeding RED.

When I think about the cameras I have in my hand now compared to where we were a decade ago, it's mind-boggling.

THANK YOU RED TEAM for kicking ass and "thinking different".

Looking forward to shooting at TWICE the resolution we started with in 2008—not to mention amazing color science, dynamic range... half the body size... it goes on and on.

Cheers,
Mark

Jarred, thank you for these kind words. You and your team are simply the best!
RED rocks! Has always been. Now even more.

And big thank you to your support team.
The way they are handling my case regarding my Epic-W, I am out of words. 1+

THANK YOU!

Keep going, pushing.

Thank you Jarred.

In the spirit of thanking an unsung Red employee, Tommy Gibney has been my rep and one of the reasons why I've been so confident in the support at Red over the last two years of Red ownership. I'm hoping like hell I get to hassle him again before the Dec upgrade deadline. Cheers Tommy.

Definitely. Thomas is my rep too. Great service.

Thank you Jarred. My Red Weapon is my most prized possession. I've never regretted the decision to drop a chunk of my savings on an Epic to get me out of editing and back on sets and shooting films Owning my own cinema camera has given me freedom, creativity and confidence to shoot and direct and do I want to do. Hope to meet you at NAB next year.

If there is one thing that sets RED apart is INNOVATION. And that is the real ingredient of real success. Mix it with generosity, passion and boldness and you get an awesome cocktail.

We thank you for the opportunity to be filmmakers in the same age as you are producing these incredible tools that we can now use in unthinkable ways!

I always start laughing thinking I could be shooting 8K in a few weeks while others get tangled in cables and external recorders just to produce "prototypes" at that resolution :))

Jarred, thank you for always taking care of the little guys. You guys and gals have really helped me in my career since I started shooting on Red back in 2010. The moment I saw what I could do with a red at Reducation I was hooked. Obviously a camera doesn't make a DP but it does give them options and I loved the science behind raw imagaing. I can truly say that I wouldn't be where I am today with Red and all of your support. Thank you Jarred,Jim,Brent and my first bombsquad Rep Maddie. You all rock! Can't wait to shoot Helium

True to the roots.

Thanks to Red for being the Chuck Yeager of camera companies, always pushing the edge.

David

You've kicked some serious ass and humbled the status quo along the way. You continue to keep it real for us and maintain the grace.

Can't ask for more, but I will. Cheers to the House of Red!

I have to compliment you guys on your attitude as a Company.
Doing your Job with this much passion and transparency is very rare these days and I'm glad to soon be part of this amazing large Family of people that use RED.

Keep up the great work, it's very much appreciated.

I'm one of those guys who waited 10 months for a S-W, and yesterday switched to Epic-W. It was a really hard wait, no doubt- this is not a hobby for me. And I had moments along the way where I wasn't very happy with RED, I lost money on jobs. What kept me coming back, waiting? The people who work at RED. The people on your team have, to a person, fantastic attitude and it's clear they CARE.
This flows from the top, Jarred. You have built a great team.
And I like that you guys are fucking weirdos. Please keep it up.

Jared, this really is amazing.

I was hesitant to jump on the Red train for a long time (disappointed in the cancellation of the old fixed lens Scarlet, no "3k for $3k," some of the abrasive commentary from leadership in the early years), but over the last, I dunno, 3-5 years or so, y'all have just continually shown how customer-focused the team at Red is, and how dedicated you are to putting the best tools in the hands of us creatives.

The Dragon, and now Helium, sensors produce stunning images, post tools have caught up with R3D, and the whole Red ecosystem is now very mature and easy to work with.

Red is now reaching out to the low end with the Raven and the best bang-for-the-buck camera on the market, the Scarlet-W.

The whole "apology" upgrade path is completely unprecedented.

The flowers & booze for Brent day was outrageously fun to watch, and shows how great a company Red is, that it would inspire that kind of reaction from its customers.

I haven't bought a Scarlet-W yet, but I'm really looking forward to doing my small part to help support such a great company. Here's hoping the backlog is cleared out when I'm ready to order!
