My camera`s version is Build 15 2.1.7 ,set ASA 320,I find something wrong in over exposure area. Look pic1,when brightness set lower, many straight lines appeared in highlight. Then I did BLK SHADING and record a full over exposure footage(cliped, image should be clear white.) open in RED Alert, set lower brightness, got pic2. And I took off len ,turn on "color" ,some lines display at left on LCD.What`s wrong with the machine?

Did you do a black shading when you upgraded the firmware? That's all I can think of. I've never seen that in highlights before. I'd report this to support.

Ok, you need to report through channels so that the team at RED can see this and pass onto the appropriate people.

I agree with Graeme that poor Black Shading is the most likely cause of an artifact such as this. Its interesting that performing one didn't clear it up.

Please work with our Tech Support team and we'll check with them on what they find out about your camera.

I hope that "texture" is normal just beacuse do too much correction. Please give me a answer RED TEAM....
Other issue: is this "black sun " effect?there was a 2.5K HMI stood out of the low wall. shot in 3K 16:9 T2.8 ASA320 1/48 24fps

The other small thing:Red icon fall apart from camera body by itself.Luckily, 1st AC found that.I can fix this by myself.

The "black sun" [or in your case, "black 2.5"] issue is normal. RED has yet to remap those black pixels to white after 7 months, so I figure it must be a permanent annoyance. Whenever you point the camera at something that is that bright, the camera will turn on a "sensor protect" to keep the sensor from being damaged.

I assume you've contacted red about your other issues, right?

Interesting bridge plate you're using on your camera...

Ok,thanks for your answer and jog.I just post my questions here.I will sent to RED Technical Support Team.
Bridge plate is an arri bottom plate. This is a apology because I am still waiting for my RED bottom plate...
