  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Teton Gravity Research welcomes Scarlet X #520

Also Todd are you still selling this set up? Do you build them and sell them to anyone looking to pick one up? I might be interested if you are.

Jeff, We are still building these. I will advise this lens is an older angenieux, we can send you full res test files to see if you like the image quality. We are happy with it and it serves a major purpose within our budget. It provides an amazing range for a cheap price, but if you are a super image stickler, you may not want it.

Todd,
What is that mount you are using to attach the touch screen to the side of Scarlet?
This is the spinner EVF It is pretty sweet. I was hesitant on it first because we did not have any way to attach the NAto rail and it seemed expensive, however now that we have it I love it. We attach the nato to the top plate(and will soon have the option to attach to the side cage or ribs for more flexibility) One of the beauties is that you have a way to pop it on and off quickly to pack up via the Nato rails flexibility. It is really a tight package up against the camera. You can easily use an arm to get it out further or up higher if you need. I think a longer Nato, like the wooden camera 150mm would add more flexibility. These cameras are really cool in that you can build them however you want. I am sure our configurations will evolve as we get more of our parts in and use the camera in the field more.

That lens looks really familiar.... :)
