  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Congratulations on your new Scarlet Todd! Would love to exchange notes if you start doing 3D work.
 
Put together a little run and gun shoulder rig for the time being. Still waiting for lots of parts. This was pulled together from a Redrock micro rig with a Really Right Stuff baseplate. Should have our LCD by end of week so we will get some footage up.

From what I understand, you may have to search on here, but someone made a setting available for download that you can control the menu and setting with just the EVF. Obviously it's not very practical, but it's an option for now. Do a search and see if it works for you.
 
Nice! Congrats Todd and Co. I'm a big fan of your past work and look forward to seeing some of the new goods :)
And as Mike said, pray for snow, pretty weak on this side of the world so far...
 
A few more photos. We have our Touch so we are shooting and testing. Still working on our rig, but getting the lego blocks figured out.

Hoodman makes it. It fits perfect, but is tough to operate inside of it. You will have the same issue with any full wrap around shade unless you modify it.

I picked one up too. I don't think I'll use it to much until my sidehandle or redmote show up.

Just curious with that lens are you shooting 2K?

This is the TGR mod lens we built for the 7D. You can read about it here. It covers 4k. We have not tested extensively on 5K since the Scarlet is limited, but did do some light testing on the Epic (we don't have ours yet). It mostly covered 5K.

Nice! I read that and thought it might be the modified lens. Very cool can't wait to see some samples.

That is some really incredible footage.
