Well I finally got out yesterday to shoot a little bit of footage. I decided to shoot a little film about my friend who is a professional polo player and it was certainly a learning curve using this camera but I'm slowly getting used to it. I have to say that being able to edit RAW is just amazing! Check out the before shot below and then after in the video. Only a little clip for now and full video I'll put up in the "shot on" soon.

No joke one ball came dangerously close!

Why didn't you use that?? Is the shot otherwise flawed?

I once filmed a Falconry demonstration in which the hawk flew right to the lens and dragged it's talons over my head. It made for a kick ass promo bit. It made such an impression in fact, that my client's competitors incorporated it into their act. They took volunteers from the audience, one with a camcorder, and staged it so that they would capture the same shot. I was pleasantly amazed to see it get that kind of notice!

I added it in. It's the shot where the mallet was about 1" away from the lens!

Some of the best scarlet footage I've seen so far that opening shot is great. Sure you know about them but check out the kessler cranes great build for the price, I got one and its awesome.

so al, weve talked a lot about your camera in pm. How are you liking it now that you have it?

I kinda thought thats how you would feel. Glad i could steer you in that direction. You do great work and the camera will def highlight your abilities.
