  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Tattoo's getting released into the wild ...?

Curran, I wonder if Mark wasn't referring to the whole big RED Pomegranate (would have said Apple but that might infringe on a trademark) instead of just the Tattoo slice? There have been "hints an allegations" here for some time that things are about to move forward on a broad front, (RED 4k, display?, projector?) while the camera weapon release is merely a Salient, IMO in the coming conquest.
 
I'm thinking the same as Else, Jarred has been quite liberal with the info and pics, maybe we're going to get an insight into the other programs that red has in R&D
 
Don't forget that Offhollywood will get the very first Tattoo cameras. Mark will probably be the one to announce when he gets his Epics, not Jarred. I just started following him on twitter so I don't miss it...
 
Yep.

You could pretty much write the first post right now.


THe subject line will be very catchy and will start with the word OFFHOLLYWOOD.

There will be a download link and a few very snazzy pics.

The text will include something like:

"I knew that EPIC was going to be better, but I had no idea...."

"When we put it up on the scratch system, which can handle 5K....."

"These are the cleanest images I have ever seen and are even cleaner than some 6K film scans from 50 speed stock...."

Mark is not one to contain his excitement, so this is going to be great!!!

It's what we have come to know and expect and I for one LOVE the enthusiasm and the reports.

Probably at each Epic Tattoo contract is written that each time any of EPIC Tattoo Users (or testers) must ask exclusively Jim Jannard and

only Jim Jannard if they would like to publish (online or offline), talk or show,...included any stuff shot on or about Epic Tattoo

(including prototype photos in wild, all type of shots made on Epic, shots that show how Epic shooting, etc,...).

It easy to get in this sort of conclusion just because as we know that thing well that the competition is always working against you.

That's quite normal doing things in any kind of a high profile business as it is Epic.

So when you sign that kind of contract you should keep your mouth shut.

It's more from bottom of the bottle of Austrian famous and excellent red wine in this case Esterhazy Tesoro 2007

even if my wine seller is totally full of bottles from South Tuscany REDS Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Noblie di Montelpuciano

that I just came back last week. Keeping it for later use. Btw, today is still Holiday in Austria and I can afford it.

But tomorrow is waiting a custom work with Fedex and Bishop (importer) for me about my R1 MX back from upgrade.

A sort of small celebration with all that.

Not to mention that I can make the best pasta in town (Vienna) and maybe in a wider area of "Österreich" to compete with many original best Italian cooks.
