that set-up doesn't have a conform tool, yet. just sayin'...
not that it isn't great, I have a very similar set-up. but DVS Clipster will still do certain things that our souped-up budget set-ups won't.
Jeff, I think I read that same comment, but I'm hoping that they released REDCINE-X first, to serve the greater populace, since not everyone has a Rocket card yet, putting in my vote to keep ROCKETCINE-X alive, it is great for fast footage reviews and is still optimized for speedier playback and rendering.
Also want them to add a text/notes section...a la Clipfinder - that can be saved in a document format that could be sent down the editorial pipeline.
Yeah, you got me there. I just saw that too.
Now I'm trying to remember where I read the other info. I know who typed it, but I don't want to say anything more until I find it. Especially since it looks like it is not accurate, or at least not going to happen any time soon.
Yeaaah,
It's happening in a small shape right now and tomorrow will get even bigger...
I am just writing what I see in front of me right now. It's about totally new feeling and life with
real-time grading and fast conforming R3D files that I didn't experience before.
REDCINE-X is still in early beta and of course with a little help from the third apps like a Clipfinder , Crimson, R3D Data Manager, etc,...
it could be one day very soon like a small scaled or cut version of DVS CLIPSTER DI RED System.
