  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC

I just tested and can confirm it does work. Though it is not as strong IS as say the Canon 70-200. About on par with Sigma OS in my experience, in the 17-50 and 70-200.
 
I also tested this lens today, but it didn't work. Which FW are you using on Epic?

Do I have to set any different settings?
 
interested in this as well....officially the IS does not work...or at least it is not listed as working....

That pretty much means that it does NOT work. This Tamron has one of the best IS in the biz. On par with 70-200...
 
I rolled some footage today of it and it looked much smoother to me, unless I was somehow operating better. I thought I could also see it correcting my movements. I'll post some when I get a chance.
 
I just did another test... you're right it doesn't work. I was operating better with it on earlier today. Sorry about that.
