  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

TACTICAL TOP PLATE

hehe... any idea what time on monday we should look for these?

Hi Jarred. I read earlier in the post that 'Ms' would be recalled for some back holes. Given I'm half a world away (OZ) what's the easiest thing you reckon. Wait for whole batch of stuff that needs doing then ship it back. I haven't even powered it up yet. Fedex is due this arvo.

There is another thread about this here somewhere. Essentially they will start recalling M cameras once they have everything in place to do the upgrades. I'm actually sending mine in for a small fix tomorrow... Hoping they can do the upgrades while it's there, but I really don't think they're ready, nor will it happen. They're still sending out new EPIC-M's with the original (old / non-X) top and other parts.

I swear there are some other differences between the EPIC-M and EPIC-X. I think my EPIC-X boots a bout 2 seconds faster and it cycles the fans differently on start-up.

I'd say I've had the same experience and am also curious as to if RED's plate will allow an increase in strength of the REDMote connection?

Any news on plans to enhance the REDMote connection?

I know, right? I think its awesome a couple people scored them when Red was adding the coming soon. ;) And they honored the sales!
cant wait until all of RED is first come first serve. so we can all be united in Red Digital Coolness - I cant stop playing and counting the seconds
for the next 180 days.

About what specifically? The eventual M upgrade? The various differences between M and X? ...
