TACTICAL TOP PLATE 2.0 NOT compatable with fan upgrade

I'm trying to install fan upgrade and new top plate. No dice. They do not fit together. I tried every possible solution barring drilling my own mounting holes.

The lip on back of the plate does not clear the back of the fan upgrade. Because of this the front 1/4 20's don't align.

If I remove the fan upgrade the problem no longer exists.

Either the fan upgrade of top plate is defective.

I would check to make sure your fans are seated properly. Double check with the install guide that it's done properly.

That's about the weirdest thing. Is the Top Fan installed correctly?

I've unseated and reinstalled the Top Fan several times. Each time carefully making sure that it was sitting right and installing as flush as possible.

If I take the Tap Fan away - No Problem! The front plate screws go in easily. Put the Top Fan on the back lip catches just enough to throw everything off.

Did you remove the exhaust fan pogo cover?

Thanks for sending the link to this. Yes, I took the fan pogo cover off.

It seems like the tolerance is off on either the Top Fan or Top Plate???

The Bottom Fan install was quite simple and worked well.
