The low profile Tactical EVF mount that we announced at NAB is now shipipng.. we were able to shave some of the cost as well and passed those savings onto you.

Integrated SWAT rail is a little longer for adjustment vs the prototypes so you can quickly slide on or off an LCD or a top Handle as needed. Added better clutch material for adjustment.

Jarred - one thing about SWAT rails - any chance you could start adding ribs at let's say an inch intervals? They tend to get squeezed and bend inwards. At first one might think this is due over-tightening, but in my case (at least) it is due to the weight of the camera being held by the top sliding handle. My 100mm SWAT rail now requires 2 full turns more at the center as when compared to the sides...

Any more example pics with EVF as well as LCD?

Is there a leveling rod attachment point?

This isn't that kind of mount.. this is for the run and gun small-as-possible compact lightweight environment. We make the bigger ( and heavier ) evf support with leveling rod if you want to go that way.

Ordered on the 24th, but didn't even see this thread he he.

Can't wait to get it, this one is one of those things I have been waiting for it.

I have mounted the EVF in so many different ways with so many different mounts, yet I am most positive that this is the one that will make me really happy for all other set ups that don't need the Big ET EVF support with extended leveling arm I use with the Gear Head.

Oh, and yes, I also agree, very cool final look!!

nice... mount that baby up and take some pics :)

Was my first thought, too -- would love to see pics once you're back, Ketch. Thanks for always taking the time and for sharing so willingly.

Jarred -- How the heck are you so quick on the draw though??? I guess this space is basically a digital panopticon, that or you're an oracle. Maybe a bit of both. Ha.

I most certainly will do so Eryc, and it is also always my pleasure to show my set ups, and give any ideas to any one on here for their mounting options.

I most definitely will do so Robert, but I am now in Modena, and some of the gear has remained in Rome, so till next trip there I wan't have it... Which trust me I want it, because even yesterday's set up would have been much better and lighter with it, instead of the still Big and Heavy ET Mount.

And that is why I immediately jumped on this new great little thing... And can't wait to have it, but can't do a 10 hours drive for it, so it will wait a little longer till my next trip... ;)
