Going into production next week

-mounts on RED 19mm rods
-90°, 180° rotatable
-1 or 2 Battery operation
-spiral power cable with RED Lemo-connector
-V-Mount, Anton-Baur, PAG, whatever flavor you desire.
-Swap batteries without rebooting your RED
-price 590.-USD

Does it have the proper power connector to plug into Red's power port?

And if I use two batteries at once, or if I do a swap, will Red still be able to accurately report the percentage of battery power I have left? I know it get's this info special from Red batteries and I want to know if this mount preserves that info.

will it be listed on redmodz?...it would be cool to keep all assecoires @ one place.we have no assecoiry section and stuff like that get lost in a few months.
but great...any real world experiences?

Brian, that's awesome!

Will one of these be part of the ActionCam RED package? If not, I'd like to add one to my order. :) Hey, I may even go for 1 in v-mount and 1 in AB mount.

Hi Jeff

It's not with the RED-edition ActionCam, but since it uses th 19mm rods, configuration possibilities are endles:biggrin:

If you wish to order it, please send an email to us, or Tonaci (a group-buy is in the works).

Humm, not sure about that - will try to do a test on that in a few days.

That is really nice... count me in please.

Hey Tonaci, I really dig your website.

Can we order it with a (RIGHT ANGLED) RED Lemo-connector?

Yeah Brian this is the s..t!
Now let's do the same thing for the RED Raid and you will win the engeneering nobel prize.
When we did our RED test last week we all realized that the RED cradle was a bit heavy. Not for big movie production style of work but for us Swiss Dudes who like to hike up the mountains and shot some snowboard action.
So a light RED Raid mount would be killer, exactly like your battery mount.

Great work Brian. Swiss Made in da house.
Jep, jep.

Cheers
Tim

Great question Shawn, One would think the batteries would be wired in parallel, with each RED battery having it's own bi-directional data, how will the camera read the RED batteries correctly, would the data be corrupted?. I would not see this to be an issue with A/B, or IDX.
