  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

SWAP-pack at NAB

And do we still get intelligent info to the camera? (other swap solutions don't)

Enabled - was a hard nut to crack (or easy once you know how:), but we got intelligent info working on the SWAP-Pack!

Brian, This is great news. How do I order?

Here is an idea for you, what about a small built-in battery incorporated into your battery mount that has just enough juice to power the camera for 5 minutes. This way you only have one brick on the camera which reduces the weight and size considerably over your swap pack and performs the same function...uninterruptible power to the camera. This would be the ultimate Red accessory. I only ask for a 2% royalty, since you heard it here first :)

heh heh.. we already are working on that one, sorry man :)

Sounds like Greg should get a royalty for every clock radio, VCR and just about every electronic device manufactured out there.

if you throw in some Red branded underwear you got a deal.

I can send you a pair. They drive the chicks wild and there is even a little pocket in the front of them that can hold a rolled up sock.

When you have two batteries on there, does it drain both at once or one and then the other? What battery does it get the info off of?

Does the battery solve the problem that the Red cage has? Where if you push on the upper backside of the battery it just shuts off the camera?

That HDD holder is pretty sweet! When will those be available?

Brian. Is the smart chip from Red batteries able to transfer info to camera with your system?

Brian one question (I Pm'd you but got no answer). Can it tilt? Earlier renders etc looked like it could, but I saw a picture were it seems as if it's solid?

Just curious.

Thanks

Fredrik

Hi Fredrik

The standard can't tilt, but it has 4 fixed angles. Optionally there will be a tiling part you can swap the fixed one with.

Brian

How much it is for the swap-pack and how long does it take for delivery ?

thanks
