  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The coronavirus pandemic and certain political issues have led to a major supply shortage, and this applies on RED camera's latest ones too. With many updates on "coming soon" / "ship in... days" -- seeing this everywhere. But is it really?

Two factors. Supply Chain issues still plague even much larger companies. Second factor, RED released two quickly selling/popular cameras. I try to keep track of serials when people get new bodies. I don't think I've seen anything close to the volume of DSMC3 cameras this quickly from the prior 3 generations of cameras. Industry and demand has grown a lot since last decade.
 
Did RED officially discontinue Monstro and all DSMC2 cameras? On their website I only see Komodo and Raptor.
