Yeah, that was scarey! I wouldn't even look! lol!, yuk, stuffed animals!!!

[Don Woods]

I thought I was going to be eaten by one of those things...

[Rob Lohman]

A cougar? What the....

[Jeff Kilgroe]

A cougar? What the....

...They're native to the area. I'm near Denver, so just on the other side of the mountains and we have them around here too. They're scarce now, and considered endangered / protected. Ranchers can still shoot them if they're threatening livestock or they can use non-harmful trapping methods and turn the cats over to wildlife authorities for release somewhere else. Actually I think they may not be able to shoot anymore, only trap with government permission now that they're endangered.

So yeah, a cougar... Fits right in with moose, elk, deer, bears, wolves, eagles, falcons, racoons, beavers, coyotes and everything else that's native to these parts.

...I'm not a big fan of hunting and prefer to shoot wildlife with just a camera.

[Rob Lohman]

Agree with you there Jeff! I love the big cats, guess that has to do with me paying a cat person (yeah yeah). Not that dogs can't be cute and all, but I prefer the little fur balls
