Stop Motion Artifact

Hey guys...
Just for fun I shot a little stop motion while shooting live action. There's a wierd artifact. It appears on adjacent frames to this but not all frames. There is always a clean band with no artifact in the center of the frame.
I'll post on RedRelay as well.
Any ideas?
4K 2:1, 4300 K, 1/48th, 320 ASA onto a CF card.
Live action looked fine.

how did you processes the clip ?
is it read straight from the cf card ?

That's odd. What was your lighting like in the stage? Not just the stuff for the shot but everything [house lights, etc.].

Thanks for that. We identified a timelapse mode bug that can cause that - so you can assume that's its already fixed in the next release.

Build 13. I was on 14 Beta but it's a paying job so I slushed back.

Out of curiousity, what's the bug? It looked like some wierd compression thing... or is it a rolling shutter issue? Only because of that suspiciously "clean" band in the middle.
BTW, it played back in the camera with the artifact. It was just easier to examine on the still frame.

All tungsten. Some 10Ks, skypans and space lights. Obviously the fella crossing frame is out of the film lights directly and just exposed via bounce. The house lights are floro but were off.

I saw this same thing when I first got my camera and was playing around with the timelapse function. I wish I still had the footage to show. I'm really waiting for that TL function to get worked out. Right now I don't even use it because it hasn't worked for me since build 14. I just use the varispeed function to do day light TL.
