Tom,

I live literally ten minutes from the Tyrone location and about twenty from the office location. Do you want to me stop by and ask for "Yuri?"

EPIC #2091 Stolen in UK Nov 12 - Rent to Steal.

Lots of little bits with it including OBOX, BOMB touch etc.

Well- this is my first post on reducer and not the one I wanted to share.... I will provide all the serial numbers in a bit... but my brand new epic was stole out of my room at the Roosevelt hotel on the last evening after attending the FEB REDUCATION workshop! YUP! It is the sponsoring hotel and they have been unimaginably RUDE, incompetent and accusatory. The LAPD has not been much better. WARNING to all red users and owners. The Roosevelt is a very unsafe place. There is an active investigation going on. Of course I had just taken ownership of the camera and did not have insurance on any of it. My entire backpack (cinebag revolution) was stolen and included my work laptop and three hard drives with 4 years of work. Staying very positive on this matter and zen. I am having to buy another camera which is not part of the financial plan. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Hopefully my next post will be a bit more pleasant.

That's a huge loss and my hopes go out that they catch them!

If you bought the camera using a credit card, you might have some purchase protection there (as some highend credit cards have that as part of their membership). Definitely check into it. I'm sure with a police report, they would cover it.

All the best.

Wil

Scarlet #01624 Stolen in Las Vegas, NV on January 1, 2014...

Have any stolen Red cameras ever been recovered?

Not that I have ever seen, so far as ones reported stolen on this forum go. It seems like RED gear gets targeted, stolen, and shipped off to the black market in Asia by the time a police report is filed.
