I came across some photos of Terrence Malick's next film in production.
Can anyone make out what kind of camera they're using in these pics?

The back of that LCD looks strangely familiar...

Ports right before the pink tape look like a Red One.

Emmanuel Lubezki is shooting on RED1? Very nice :)

Maybe they are not shooting the whole film digitally...

Only geeks like us would see photos of Olga Kurylenko on a movie set and stare at the camera

What exactly is this tummy-cam thing? It looks to me like the camera is held to the operator's body using big rubber bands. What are some films or TV shows that have used this?

Wow Malick using RED. Well the cam just got a stamp of approval from one of the most respected (if not THE most respected) director currently working! Can anyone confirm for sure if only some of the film is RED? I guess some is better than nothing. I guess you pick the best tool for the job.

Now all the Red team needs to do is bring Kubrick back from the dead (using the mad scientist future tech they have but won't tell us about) and hook him up with a new Epic and Red will be set.

Keep in mind that some important shots for TREE OF LIFE were also shot on Red cameras. Other digital cameras were also used for TREE for specialty shots. :cheers2:

good point tom! ;-|E>
