You're making this difficult, Justin :-)

For those that wanted more info on the raptor, below are some pics and video I took on my iPhone last NAB...

You don't have to convince me. This rig is a work of art, as most of your products are. My "criticism", if you want to call it that way, was only that it's, at the current price point and its inability to fly a loaded RED one, not an option for this group buy. But if we get way more than 60 buyers on the ProLine group buy, I'm sure that everyone would agree that some could and should cancel their orders and form a Raptor group buy together with others who anyway want to purchase a Raptor, as long as it's not endangering the ProLine group buy, i.e. lowering the order number under 60. I think that would be a fair solution for everyone.

If we could get the Raptor at the price of the Proline, it would be great (or more like amazing!)... maybe just do it on a 7 day option and see if the numbers hit :)

But, honestly, I can see the Raptor as easily the one to go for if it's Epic/Scarlet and boom range (plus a vest that looks good for the back) - but I don't think AP can get to that price point of the Proline (David's the Guru here, of course - but I'm not sure walking on water is possible - LOL!).

Here's a suggestion - why not just modify the vote and add the Raptor? If you can't modify, maybe another one - simply between the two might work. of course, that's really dependent upon price point with AP. However, if AP can be persuaded by David (ahem) the easy option would be a very limited deal and one that wouldn't be part of their normal range (so this wouldn't impact later sales of the system - ie a Red Raptor Beta).

Anyway, just thoughts really. I'm another on the fence...

As an aside - if anyone has a lot of time to spare, this is an interesting Zephyr presentation from a while ago - https://vimeo.com/album/1652013/video/26644839 - covers a few things and is quite interesting - another here - https://vimeo.com/24573459 (Scout and Zephyr)

I think there needs to be a solid list of who wants what so you can accurately count the numbers.

Perhaps you can start that list David and get people to commit via email to you personally.
I know for myself I would want to know what price I'm going in on before paying. If its less then that is great and a refund can be issued but its important from a business stand point to know before hand what you're committing to.

David could you handle doing this?

If you have a look at my blog, you will see that the 60+ price, which will be the one you can order, is very close to the highest discount bracket at 80+ buyers. If not enough users (under 60) will order an unit at this price, no money will be withdrawn from your account and the order get canceled.

By placing an order for the ProLine, you in fact are placing yourself on a list that states that you're committed to buy an unit, if there are 60 or more orders for the 60+ price, unless we reach the 80+ buyers, which would make it even cheaper.

Would you please ask if there a hard-mount accessory for the proline? I have a shoot coming up where I would need to fly it mounted to something other then a vest.

My understanding is Proline uses the standard socket block connector. Should work with any hard mount. It certainly looked like the standard type when I demoed it.

Will write Luciano. Maybe he can add a attachable mount when we reach 80+ orders

Hi Michael, the arm should be mountable everywhere. Luciano just confirmed it.

yes the arm can be mount in any car mount the socket is universal

WE CAN PLACE OUR ORDERS. FINALLY

Luciano just wrote me the password. I'll make a new blog post with it. The password will be encrypted, just like the offers.

Again, you can order the ProLine T2000 for the 60+ price, which is very close to the 80+ price. If not enough orders come in (<60), all the orders get canceled. If more than 80 orders get placed, the price will be further reduced to the price posted on my blog or some stuff like cables will be added.

There are two version, one with flight case and one without.

And one more important info for international buyers: Monthly installments are possible, even for non US citizens.

I Asked payday and is fine, as soon as they have Paypal account or bill me later they can do it doesn't matters if they are international buyers and they buyers can do 3, 6 or 12 payments depending their credit card limits even if they don't have paypal account they can enter the credit card info in the web and the payment is going to go thru paypal.

EDIT: The blog post with the password is online.

Thanks again David, that is great. Is there somewhere we should ask the manufacturer any questions we have, or do we still just post on here? I see the ordering page is now up and is a simple purchase the version you want page, but the details seem to be a tad vague... So I had a number of these questions below, but just let me know if there is somewhere else I should be asking them instead...

What is the deadline for purchasing for the group buy rate?
What is expected delivery timetables?
When it says it includes Full sled, what does that include, battery mount, junction boxes, etc?
Does it include the actual battery plate, it didn't ask for the option of v-lock or ab?
Does the hard case fit everything, and does it have precut foam or is it just empty case?
It says it includes power cables, I assume that means we are ready to plug in the epic or scarlet right out of the box with no additional items or adapters needed?
Did they end up making the arm tension tool-less now too?

Keep posting them here, so that all the info and questions get shared, and I'll forward everything to Luciano. Maybe he can answer those questions himself in this thread. No idea how the forum rules are concerning dealers and manufacturers.

I can answer already some of those questions. For this reduser edition, a RED power cable for the Epic and/or the RED one is included (will ask if we get both). The battery plates are included, but you have to send a mail if you want AB or vmount. The package includes the battery plates, junction boxes, cables and so on. You can find more info on it on my blog. Expected delivery time is 45 days. There's soft foam in the case. It's not precut. The arm and the sled fit in, and there will be a bog for the vest.

I was worried about this. 45 days is going to be a problem for me. Damn, I really wanted to get in on this.

Shipping is not calculated when I went through the order process. Will that be charged later?

I don't see any option for international buyers to pay in installments. How is it done?

After ordering, you can send ProLine an email if you want AB or Vmount plates.

There will be either a RED one or a RED Epic power cable included (plus of course all the other cables mentioned in the ProLine offer on my blog). But you'll be able to purchase additional cables on the webshop (my guess is for a price around 110USD, since the LEMO connectors at Mouser already cost 80 or 90USD together).

Deadline is on March 28th 2013.

The arm is not tool-less:

the arm still need to be adjust with the Allen range but the adjuster is on bearings so is really smooth and fast
