I doubt any of them actually live in South Carolina.
From what I understand there's some sort of teleco/regulation/law loophole that attracts scam artists to use SC credentials.

This may be so, but eventually after all kinds of twists to my story, I got the guy to ship me the item I paid for and it came from Columbia South Carolina.
