  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Space between Scarlet and RED ONE

Scarletuser for just Scarletusers

and

Reduser with sub Scarlet?

Plus Scarletuser.com has archive of old Scarlet. haha
I don't quite get it either. It's a bit confusing, seeing all the old threads here being picked up, so I think Jim's annoyance is understandable... If I hadn't read Peter's post back in spring,I would have sorted it into the same cathegory as what's going on over at Scarletuser right now.

I am not one of those impractical people looking for 3k on a s35 sized sensor. But what about the Four Thirds format at around a 4-4.5k price point? The money we'd save in better glass and adapters to achieve shallower depth of field alone would make it worth it.
There simply are not as many appropriate b4 2/3" inch lenses around and most of those are meant for 3ccd cameras which mean they are corrected for the divergent optical paths. This correction would probably result in chromatic aberrations on bayer sensors. Not to mention that those lenses are meant for sensors with larger cell sizes. I've made other points on other posts I won't repeat them here.

Geez! Give it a rest, we heard you already! There is not a single thread out there in both ScarletUser and RedUser that you don't bring this point. I am sure RED team is either thinking about it if reasonable or shaking their heads if not. Thanks!
