About the redmexican project... it works! and we just finished a full movie explaining the full workflow with it. We will post it tomorrow on the site. http://www.redmexican.com.

It works, you still need Crimson though. Javier is a Smoke trainer in Miami, real good guy.

Crimson is a great tool but... if you are going to finish everything on your Smoke or Flame you can just use the droplet posted here:

Hi guys, everything runs smoothly now. I had a timecode proble and a soft import issue but every is fine with Smoke 2008 now. The whole Crimson workflow works with REDCINE and all.

Also had success with FCP -> Flame/Smoke workflow using Crimson. We followed the crimson demo video up until the point where it created the round house XML. instead of doing this we conform using a CMX edl exported from the the original FCP proxies project.
