David:

Is the Floatcam offer only for the DollyCrane HD version? Are the accessories, like soft/hard cases and motion control, included in the discount?

Floatcam's offer is online. I also updated the offer by Roman's Cine Gear.

Its too bad the small package isn't available from MYT. I've already got a big mitchell overkeeper, and am interested in something smaller for run-and-gun lightweight set-ups. Plus, as far as I remember, the small is the only one that comes in the shortest 3' length... medium and large have a min length of 4'. Is that still the case?

shame...

MYT just wrote me concerning your question:

Currently, we only sell 3' Small and Large Glides. In the past, we made a 3' Medium, but it hasn't been for sale for some time now. There simply wasn't much demand. We could potentially look into making one special for this client, but at this point I can't confirm.

Here's Floatcam answer. I also updated their offer on my blog.

DC HD is packed only into hard cases and these cases are included into the DC HD price.

Regarding Motion Control I can give [see blog] discount.

Im interested in a small size MYT, David did you get a response on if that would be included in the group buy?
really looking for the compactness for hiking in to locations don't think i want to carry a 4ft medium

Sorry, it's just the medium and the large one for the group buy. But the weight difference isn't that big:

A good friend has a MYT and loves it. I've seen it in action and I was impressed as well. Just my 2 cents.

I have been thinking about the MYT Works items.

To let you all know I have a matthews floatcam dc slider. The HD was around 2 times the price and weight was a lot more as well as the cases are hard and bigger.
I have not tried to fly with mine but can knowing I cant fedex it does not look good.
For the reg one its a must to up grade to the metal wheels vs plastic.

Be sides all that I love it just not some thing to grab and throw in a car for any thing quick lol.

It will tilt when your around 20lbs so must have C stand/tripod and sand bags.

I can see the MYT a lot quicker to deal with.

The cinevate atlas 30 was nice light quick to deal with but flexes/bows even with 12lbs.
Would have gone with a 200 but at the time it was some time to get it.
cinevate told me the 200 will not flex tho.

I've been thinking and looking and wanting a MYT for 2 years now. This deal will be the time when I finally get one. or Three. We'll see how that goes.

I'll let the poll open until Friday morning. I'll then open a new thread specifically about the purchase of the elected slider.

MYT wins the poll.

I'll contact them and make a new thread about the group buy of the medium / large sized slider (standard or 3 in 1).

I chatted with the Camblock guys at NAB this year and the new Adventure product they will be releasing is awesome. Too bad I missed their kickstarter campaign. It's in a different catagory but something you will keep for a lifetime.

I know the vote is in for the MYT, but I thought I'd mention the Camdolly

www.camdolly.com

i've just bought one and it's amazing. It's a slider, a ride-on dolly, curved and straight track, orbiting dolly, and table dolly, all in one.

This thing is rock solid, and so versatile. I'm going to do a video review soon, but I'm thrilled with it. Excellent value for money.

I have heard good things about the MYT. This is a great group buy!
