This review got me...I really wanted to go with the Vazens as I understand there are RF versions coming in March on the other focal lengths, but now I’m torn over the sharpness mess.

Also, hey Red, any word on that Anamorphic support in Komodo?

Spoke to one of the guys at MTF in the UK and they said they should have the RF mount versions in stock again sometime february.

An unnamed US supplier told me this in an email. I offered to prepay to get on the list, but said offer wasn’t accepted.

I also just received an email from Vazen saying the 2.1 50MM PL will be shipping in 2 weeks...

Apart from the flares, i feel like if you just forget about the anamorphic stretch and just see it as a "lens with Character" it is a really nice lens.
My previous trepidation with the lens not being 2x or even 1.5x anamorphic feels a bit moot as i have started to embrace the look as i would any lens. I just wish it wouldn't streak flare so strongly now, haha.
