  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

shut up and shoot that Scarlet

Scarlet in the air... Nikon glass... Can't wait from my Scarlet Dragon to arrive :-)

Just throwing some more pics up on the wall while no-one's looking...

I like the low-quality-print and almost hand-drawn look of these ones...

Great stuff Deon!!

Amazing video Deon, looked great. Very cinematic in a lot of places, is easy to imagine you shooting a movie looking like that. Interesting too to see the similarities and differences between that and your distillery shots from the other day. Thanks.

Les how well do they print and what DPI?

Nice work :)

Thanks Eric. Sorry for the confusion or if I'm misunderstanding you, I haven't tried printing any of these pictures. I was just degrading them in Redcine-X to make them look like low-grade prints. It's just a nostalgia thing for me, as that kind of look reminds me of books and publications from the past, and I think it's neat that it can be imitated digitally.

Deon, do you even use an AC or are you pulling as well? I presume their not rehoused lenses (that's why I ask)... Any special filtration or bare glass (or matte box only)?

OH SNAP, you take the battery off the back and pop it into the hip-pack? Is there a reason (more stable or anything that keeping the battery up on the camera, but still counterbalancing)?
