  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys,

Had a shot that involved a FPS style headbutt, I had the talent hold the camera and was pretending to headbutt close to the front of the lens. I was stupid enough not to add protection in front of the lens and he actually clipped his head slightly on the edge of the lens. It wasn't hard an just jolted the rig but the camera reset it self and the clip was corrupt. I had previous takes so was not worried that I lost the clip and was able just to let it reboot and continue with the rest of the shoot and everything seems fine now. I am just curious if anyone has had any issues like this when the camera has a slight impact?

Sounds like your battery disconnected in the jolt, which powered down the brain. Whenever you are doing stunts or whatever, lock the battery down with tape or a clamp if you can (car rig).

Thanks Phil, I guess that would make sense! we did shake the camera a bit also, must have knocked the battery!
