  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yes the title is amazing, you can't really tell if it's about Lesbians who kill vampires or someone who kills Vampires who happen to be lesbian OR if it's Vampires who happen to be Lesbian who also happen to be killers.

The intrigue is killing me.
 
Lesbian Vampire Killers? It's the hotness that is Willow and Kennedy hunting vampires in Brazil... at least that's what it is in my mind and I'm not going to ruin it by watching that movie.
 
Uhh, whatever happened to those Red nay-sayers that were bleating away a couple of months ago that Red would never catch on and serious production companies would be hesitant to use the Red?

Whatever happened to those guys ?

Pupa make-up commercial and two music videos with Red One.
I was Red set supervisor and I did conforming and color correction in color.
Two promo one for Emporio Armani and another one for Alfa Romeo Mito shot on Red. For the last two I was director/cinematographer/editor.
 
We are doing 2 to 3 MTV and/or Spike TV promos a week now - they are on the air almost every day - we are trying so hard to find the hours to launch our new website (under construction) - and post all these RED spots - just to busy ... shooting more stuff on RED ...

Danish cinematographers are really embracing the camera. It has already taken over a lot of the PRO35 work, and a lot of projects intended for film are now being shot on RED. And we get a lot of phonecalls from ACs and DP who wants to take it for a test swing.
 
Yawn!

If anybody was expecting mechanical quality at at the level of Arri for a tiny fraction of the price, they were just idiots.

If anybody bought the Red One with a "what you pay is what you get" expectation, they are in for a very positive surprise.

Plus, Red is not forcing you to buy accessories from them, other than many companies trying to lock you in, they are adhering to standards. So, buy your stuff from Arri, Anton-Bauer and the like and you get the professional quality in workmanship. You may end up paying quite a bit more than for the camera itself, though, even without glass.
