Any do this ?

Is there a simple option ? i've managed to shoot what seems like a still but i can't load it in photoshop or lightroom ?

Any suggestions ?

would be great if RED could address a simple stills mode for us who come from a photography background.

Cheers

There is a "stills mode" in the menus or you can just put it in multi shot. There is an option to frame limit as well. Though you need 5 frames for ADD if you want to use it.

This still records R3Ds, but Red has a plug in to import into Photoshop. You can also run the R3ds thru Red Cine X to Tiffs to edit in lightroom if necessary.
Id recommend trying Red Cine X as a replacement for Lightroom though. Its much faster and build for working with Red files, it leverages the raw better imo.

Cheers man!

i've tried to import still files into REDCINE with all the latest updates but it doesn't seem to load strange!

Red Cine X only works with Red files. I was refering specifcally to using it instead of Lightroom with just Red stuff.

I always record a couple of seconds in raw and than edit it a little with Red Cine X and export a Tiff. Afterwards I retouch the rest in Photoshop.
